Our aim at Academic Achievements Ltd is to be able to allow parents and carers to feel empowered and involved in their loved one's process of learning.
Using the latest pedagogical knowledge, our resources are designed to help all learners make progress and assist parents and/or carers to be able to support their young person make progress. Regardless of the exam board the school is with, the style of questions and design of the layout help direct students to explore language and further develop their analysis skills, in addition to being able to confidently experiment and craft their own writing styles.
We aim to ignite passion from the words on the page and change that into confidence, leading to higher self-esteem and better results for the young person! Go to our resource page now to purchase a myriad of resources available.
Seeing a young person become confident and thrive makes our job delightful and reminds us why we came into teaching! We have had positive feedback from our SEN students on the structure of our classes and resources. We believe progress can be made, regardless of whether the young person is neurodiverse or neurotypical.
Whether you opt for our small group sessions or our 1-2-1 sessions, we aim to individualise work for the tutees, be it through different tasks or questioning. Where we can, we will always aim to create resources that the young person has an interest in to allow for more engagement and deeper understanding of the exam skills needed.
Our aim is to always ensure the young person feels like they are heard, they are seen and they are respected. This is why hearing the young person’s voice is very important to us. The young person will always get the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings about how they think they are progressing and their feedback is always valued. We also ask for feedback from parents and/or carers to allow us to make quicker progress. Regular tutor feedback and sharing any progress, no matter how small is a must for us!
At Academic Achievements we are regularly attending current courses shaping the teaching profession to ensure our knowledge is up to date. We aim to support, challenge and empower the young people we teach. Our objective is to leave every session with the young person feeling a sense of pride in what they’ve achieved in that session, regardless of their ability.
