The aim at Academic Achievement is to be able to allow parents and carers to feel involved in their loved one's process of learning. Regardless of the exam board the school is with, the specific questions help direct students to explore language and further develop their analysis skills, in addition to being able to confidently experiment and craft their own writing styles. We aim to ignite passion from the words on the page and change that into confidence which then leads to better results! Seeing a child become confident and progress makes my job worthwhile and reminds me why I came into teaching.
As everyone is different, I feel the need to individualise work for the tutee so that they are more engaged and are able to make quicker progress than by using standard worksheets.
I am an enthusiastic teacher who loves to support, challenge and break glass ceilings with the young people I teach. My patient yet demanding attitude allows the child I teach to feel a sense of pride in their abilities, regardless of where they are on the spectrum.
There are many exam boards that I have worked with, ranging from: AQA, WJEC and OCR.My experience in teaching is mainly in KS3, 4 and 5. I also have experience working with Primary level pupils and SEN children.
We donate 10% of what we earn to resources for education in developing countries around the world. Please help us support all learners of today and tomorrow.
